Neil Paul
High School Bass Class
Neil Paul has served in travel and tourism for Anderson County (SC) since 2010 and has served as the Executive Director of Visit Anderson since 2015. One of his primary responsibilities is marketing Lake Hartwell and Green Pond Landing and Event Center for fishing tournaments and events. Paul has coordinated the efforts of hosting the 2018 and 2015 Bassmaster Classics at Lake Hartwell as well as numerous professional, amateur and regional fishing events at Lake Hartwell. In addition to his role in travel and tourism, Paul serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Sports Alliance. Paul is an avid angler and enjoys serving as a Marshal for the Bassmaster Elite Series as well as a Brand Ambassador for the Toyota Bonus Bucks program. Paul resides in Anderson County.
Roger Metz
High School Bass Class
Roger Metz has managed his accounting practice for over 30 years, but more importantly he has spent more than 45 years of his life hunting and fishing, both here in his home state of South Carolina and across the United States, including Alaska. In March of 2014, Roger began hosting his Woods and Water SC radio show in an effort to encourage more people to get outside and enjoy the fishing, hiking, hunting, camping and all the activities the outdoors has to offer. Media credentials through Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA) have allowed Roger limitless access to the hunting and fishing industries and all the people associated with the outdoors, many of whom have been guests on Woods and Water SC. Roger is a published writer and photographer, and loves to be as “hands on” as possible, which means lots of traveling!
