The Mission

I t is the Mission of the High School Bass Class to provide high school and middle school anglers with a thorough knowledge of bass fishing by offering classroom instruction taught by professional anglers, hands on opportunities by connecting young anglers with the industry’s top brands, create awareness within the industry to include post graduate and professional opportunities, and instilling a basic knowledge of care, respect and conservation by engaging young anglers with the representatives from state natural resource departments.

The Vision

The High School Bass Class began as an idea in 2016 and then was formally established in January 2017 with the inaugural event in Anderson, South Carolina. The High School Bass Class operates for the purpose of connecting middle school and high school anglers with the fishing industry in an effort to provide education, exposure and opportunity. The goals of the High School Bass Class are as follows:

To introduce high school and middle school anglers with the state Departments of Natural Resources in an effort to educate and instill the basic knowledge of fish care, respect for the water and other anglers, and conservation in bass fishing.

1Will coaches/boat captains/parents be allowed to register and attend the High School Bass Class?
Yes, coaches/boat captains/parents are welcome to register and attend with their teams and/or anglers.
2Will coaches/boat captains/parents be allowed to attend the keynote dinner on Saturday night?
Due to space limitations, we are only registering students at this time. However, if there is available space one week prior to the event, we will open a special registration for coaches/boat captains/parents.
3Will coaches/boat captains/parents be allowed to attend the Sunday Career Day?
Yes, we encourage coaches and parents to attend; however, seating for the sessions may be limited. Colleges will be on site and available for you to discuss post graduate opportunities.
4May we purchase additional High School Bass Class shirts and dry bags?
If available, yes. If they are unavailable, please check the High School Bass Class Store on the website.
